Right from the onset I have never believed in any acronyms and have always rendered strategic services to ensure no political group or interest become such a powerful monster to perpetuate themselves over our collective destinies as a people.
This was what influenced the rationale behind the merger as an alternative when PDP became overwhelmingly insensitive & complacent to the yearnings of the masses. But no sooner the merger succeeded, some interests hijacked it & perverse it for personal gain/control
What was meant to make things better soon became a draconic and demonic plot to enrich certain interests at whatever cost. The rabid need for command & control became imminent as all internal elections were rigged for the fulfillment of that marshal plan.
The primary idea was to use a certain political figure as “rag doll” an effective scheme that will gain the support of ethic & religious bigots, whose interests will be protected by parochial/provincial appointments & corruption licence. It was a highly ambitious plot.
Having neutralized a principled and deeply convicted player, gunning for the Chairmanship of the Party, with an easily controlled corrupt social climber dug out of obscurity, the plot was sealed. They went on to scheme for VP but that failed.
That notwithstanding, another rag doll was needed as a placeholder in preservation of the master ventriloquist’s interest as a “leg in the door” but no one felt the need to create a backend just in case the primary figure so decide to go rogue, he was deemed sedated.
This over simplification is common amidst southern politicians who often assume northern politicians are malleable idiots that can be easily manipulated. When southerners are financed politically, they’re forever enslaved unlike their northern counterparts as observed
This was corroborated with the selfish plots of some southern PDP Governors when they approached Modu Sherrif, taunting him with Chairman position of the party against their 2019 ambition, which almost destroyed the main opposition when Modu revealed his true self.
But I digress. Let the record reflect that northerners (politicos) are no idiots, they are as conscious as their southern counterparts despite the overrated sense of supremacy of some cunning fellows. Things are never what they seemed. So let’s move on shall we…?
I have always prayed for the health of our leaders regardless of their political party or effectiveness in office. If you dig the tweets you will often find me praying that our democracy must never be truncated and leaders should live long enough to handover amicably.
But some folks don’t see how this benefits their interest from the original plot. I’m certain we were all taken aback by the seeming blindsided support for second term bid of the head honcho by the main ventriloquist, who was hitherto sidelined/tamed.
I was amused by the rhetoric that the decision was due to the promise of the north granting the south the next 8yrs should this pass but that wasn’t why this was swiftly agreed to by those seeking to pocket Nigeria.
The SW/SE ignorant opportunists and traitors endorsing due to fringe promises are part of the problem. But this is not about them. Susurrus & rustlings from the beleaguered conundrum of APC suggests that some elements so believe history will repeat itself.
Some have started playing god with the assumption that another “Yaradua” will be the case in less than a year in the new term which will eventually favor the chief ventriloquist whose rag doll will finally take the helms. Ambitious is not the right word for this..
This must have informed the decision of those at the NWC, who checkmated the return to relevance of the ventriloquist by backing the corrupt figurine & serial traitor, serving as the moribund errant party chair despite his obvious lapses even as a social climber.
With this at play, how then can the gravely aggrieved ventriloquist succeed as an arbiter with the groundswell of distrust and discontent towards his person? WIll he be frustrated knowing there are plots within the plots, which are mostly against his interest?
I guess we need not speculate, but wait for the outcome of their national convention, if they can tame their self interest enough to put the party first. No doubt, the battle for the soul of Nigeria is heated but those clamoring are not doing so in our interest.
It MUST be reiterated that the actions of power brokers across the country are not in the interest of any ethnic group but their personal interests and those of their cronies. We MUST shun killing, fighting & insulting ourselves for these ones.
There’s never been a time in our political history where an opportunity is so gaping for a break of an evil cycle. The citizenry MUST rise up to the occasion and take their country back. Our collective action is what is required now more than ever.
History will be made in 2019 if the voice of the people is allowed to be heard and if not, the heavy ladened political pregnancy will be delivered imminently by no other midwife but Revolution (according to Lenin). The choice is theirs…they have more to lose.
While APC gasps for breath in the stranglehold of selfish interests, PDP is battling with same with the political reality before them. It is either they make their internal democracy exemplary or sink for good. Imposition will determine any party at this point.
Citizens should not be deceived into buying any propaganda. Those seeking to trick Nigerians with stuffed puppet/holograms during campaigns should think twice. We know most of the vendors in Germany. If you miss the debates, give up on your bid already.
We are not voting along ethnic, religious, party or interest lines in 2019. We are voting for the soul of our Nation. We are charting a path for our children and unborn generations. We are breaking the chains of slavery. We are begining again more intelligently.
We pray for sound health and good counsel for the President and we hope he will make a believer of us by running the freest and fairest election ever in the history of our democracy. Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria on its journey to true federalism #NewNigeria #2019Plots
…End of Celestial Observation…
NB: Many will not read in between the lines until 2019 stares us in the face. Just mark the words and quote the tweets when they start happening along these lines as always.
I also gather that most of the APC governors have issued their disinterest in having the embattled Arbiter and political ventriloquist in their state. The battle line may have been drawn. Keep your eyes peeled.
