Everton have finally pulled the trigger and sacked Ronald Koeman as manager after a truly dismal start to the 2017/18 season. Sitting in the relegation zone after just two wins from nine Premier League games, plus sitting bottom of their Europa League group with just one point from nine available after spending in excess of £150m in the summer, this really was Everton’s only option.
